I am totally and utterly in love with Glee at the moment. Seriously, it is fucking awesome.
Sure, the characters are all undeveloped stereotypes and the plot is completely predictable (though I think those things will both improve over time) but the music is incredible and it's just so much fun!

Quick question, does anyone on my flist watch Bones and write (or attempt to write) fanfiction?

The reason I ask is because I am in dire, dire need of some Lance Sweets fic. Anything really, that has him as the main charatcer, but I can't find any ANYWHERE. So, if someone would like to maybe write me some...=) I would totally make you some icons of whatever you want =DDD

Today I have done about four practice exams for various subjects and I am nowhere near ready for the real things.
I spose that's ok coz I've got about ten days till the first one.

I've been quite productive today (not nearly as much as I need to have been but oh well) and I haven't watched a single minute of car racing, despite that fact that I've set up my temporary work station directly in front of the enormous telly (which I've only had on for 40 minutes BTW).

Anyway, talipuu  dear, Happy Birthday for the other day! I have started your Birthday Kradman graphics but I have no idea at this stage when I'll be able to finish them. Could be tomorrow, could be in two weeks. HOPEFULLY SOON THOUGH!

Oh! Also, comedy thing was good. Funny, as you would expect. I wore tall shoes and didn't hurt myself. It's an achievement for an uncoordinated short-ass like myself.

Tomorrow I have to get up at like 5.00am so that I can be on the bus at 6.30am to be at revision lectures in the city at 9.30am. Joy. I'm looking forward to the lectures but having to drive two hours to get there is a waste of valuble study time. Sure I'll take some work with me on the bus but, let's be honest here, how much of it am I actually going to get done?

Have I mentioned that like, 17 people from my town were on that cruise with swin flue?
If I get swine flu right before exams I will stab someone.

Quick update on my life;

01. I think I'm coming down with something. It's like nausea + phlegm + coughing + shaking + fatigue + weakness, all rolled into one big ball of sick. Not to mention my back and shoulders are fucked from all the books I'm carrying around all the time.
02. I have exams in just under two weeks now. My first one is one the 9th of June and my last one is on the 11th. That's 4 exams in 3 days. Yay.
03. I'm going to the city on Sunday for revision lectures. They should be good I think.
04. My phone should be here soon. It's a Sony Ericsson Xperia. It was posted yesterday.
05. I'm going to the Comedy Festival Roadshow tonight. Should be good.

In short I'm quite busy at the moment so I probably won't be posting any icons anytime soon.

Barney runs an entire marathon then gets stuck on the subway because he can't walk. Who doesn't love that? I really like the colouring and composition of this icon. The centred crop really works and the colours stand out beautifully against the black.

I developed and insta-girlcrush on Jennsen the very first time I saw her on Legend of the Seeker. I think she's really gorgeous, with that red hair and those blue eyes and...yeah....she looks nothing like Richard though. Anyway, the first thing I did after I watched that ep was make icons of her and this is one of my favourites. I've been using this colouring all the time lately. Also, I'm really into the song Sunburn by Muse so that's where the text is from.

Oh Chuckles. He almost looks like a real spy here doesn't he? The crop of this icon is just awesome and there's something in the colouring I really adore. Usually I would consider this kind of icon a bit dull but, idk, this one really works for me.

First of all, Katie is gorgeous. This image by itself is really lovely but the colouring and that light texture are just spot on. Great composition too, the centred text contrasts really nicely with the uncentred crop. Overall just a really gorgeous icon.

This icon is really clean. The colours are bright without being oversaturated and the crop manages not to crowd the icon too much. I really admire this icon because the colouring is so different than the kind of colouring I achieve when working with Dr. Horrible caps.

This year I've really gotten into V8 Supercars more than in previous years. This man, Mark Winterbottom, is by far my favourite driver and this image was too good to pass up. That texture is one of my absolute favourites and I have to stop myself from using it all the time. Also, I really like that font but I hardly ever use it.

So, the weather today is beyond horrendous. It's all windy and dusty and I think it might rain. The sky is all grey/brown with dust.
It's lovely.

I have to go to school this afternoon (in the holidays! I know!) because we're doing extra chem lessons to make sure we're up to date and so on and so forth.

I have a lot of homework that I haven't done yet. Ooops.

Anyway, last night (I nearly wrote yestnight. IDEK) I was watching the end of The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (oh hai, long enough title?) and I discovered that I kind of love Casey Affleck a little bit. I like his voice. IDEK why, it's just...yes. Even despite the general high-pitched-ness. But there was an ad for Gone Baby Gone (I still have no idea what that's about) on after and it had a snippet of the Red Space interview and oh my lawd did he sound sexy!

....Weird teeth though. I dunno if I can handle that.

Yeah....I'm really just procrastinating. Can you tell?
